Urban Sketching Workshop weekend: San Francisco July 27/28
We'll start with an (optional) Sketchbook share to kick off the weekend on Friday evening (location tbd).
On Saturday morning, we'll tackle how to sketch a Vignette full of Life. How do you know what to sketch? How do you get depth into your drawing? How do you set a focus? How do you keep your colors harmonious? That sort of thing.
On Saturday afternoon, I'd like to share a method to use expressive colors with intent. How do you get an emotional quality into your sketch without it turning into a mess? It's the workshop I will also be teaching at the USK Symposium in Argentina. Your chance! 🙂
On Sunday morning, we'll tackle a step by step strategy to sketch people. One of my favorite subjects, yet something that can be a little tricky!
On Sunday afternoon, we'll do a module on storytelling. How to design your page using panels, a hero image, details, and all your senses to make a sketch full of what interests YOU.
Details about meeting points (central, within easy reach of public transport in SF) as well a a material list will be shared with those who signed up closer to the event.
